Every role in OGP is crucial in shaping how we operate and maximize impact.
You solve problems. You design and build systems and make sure it works.
You’re not just here to write code, but also to figure out what we should be building and how we should build it. You identify potential projects that can impact public good, build prototypes and write codes to create the solutions that you are passionate about. Apart from creating solutions, you also get a hand in designing novel systems that work around bureaucratic constraints and advocate these to other government agencies.
You proactively onboard users, resolve issues and channel feedback to product teams to improve our products
You get a chance to scale OGP’s products within Singapore and beyond to create impact that transcends borders. You identify and approach new users, train them, and resolve issues with other teams to improve our products.
You understand users’ needs and problems, and communicate them to other teams. You prioritise and plan what is important.
As a product manager, your job is to make sure the right things get done. At a high level, this means establishing a clear vision for what a product should be and what needs to be done to get there. On a day to day basis, this means handling all the different facets of a project and making sure they’re coordinated. And at the core, this means building a foundation of knowledge across user needs, technical constraints, and design goals so you can act as a bridge across all of them.
You understand users’ needs, create intuitive user flows and polish detailed aesthetics for best user experience. You also test designs with users and work on their feedback
As a product designer, your job is to make a concrete vision of what a good product looks like. You design the best approaches to how we run OGP, and then execute it
